Directional Signage

We've seen a lot of requests for event signage tips.  This is an area I have always enjoyed pondering before an event, walking a space as if I've never seen it and trying to imagine what my experience would be like as a guest.  If you're a little unsure where the restrooms are and how to get back to the meeting room during your site check, your guests will be too.

Having a large banner outside any event is a huge help to your guests and also sets the tone as an organized function before they walk in the door. I personally like freestanding retractable 3x8 banners that are easy to set up, re-use and ship if needed. These banners are great for branding throughout large venues and next to your registration tables.

To save money, and trees, consider creating large black arrows that can be laminated and used at all your upcoming events.  By adding Velcro to the back of the arrows, you can simply create generic signs for placement on easels with your logo and the words "Restroom" or "Registration" and place the correct arrow on the sign.  This is a great trick if you're in multiple venues and are not exactly sure where each sign will be placed at the time you go to press.1822154-1730755-thumbnail.jpg

We've uploaded a list of basic event signage to the Event Templates section.  More entries on signage will be posted this week.  Thanks for the feedback.
